| Deployed Members |
We take great pride in our membership, especially those that served or continue to serve this great country of ours. We have many members that currently serve on active duty or are former or retired members of the armed forces.
We dedicate this section to our members currently deployed. We ask for your prayers and continued support for them and their families.

FEMA Grants Print this page
FEMA Grants are not automatic. These are VERY competitive grants that go up against every fire department in the U. S., Career or Volunteer. We need to come up with a plan, find items that we really need, research the items and prices, write reports that are needed by the Federal government, hire a grant writer and get the needed information to them,. Once completed it is a waiting game. Just because we have won grants in the past, doesn't mean that we do not need local funding. The reason for this program is that local governments alone do not support the fire departments to help them meet their needs. Technology is expensive and the cost associated with technology continues to climb. With new requirements by NFPA and other interests we have to have the support of not only the local government, but other agencies to include FEMA just to stay near the middle of the pack.
Thank you for your support.
Thank you FEMA
Greg Jeppson
Fire Chief.
