Half Moon, as did the rest of Eastern North Carolina, went through a week of heavy rains, some areas received approx. 17 inches or more of rain during this time. With this said, we had major flooding and swift water throughout our district. We handled calls in other districts as we became an island....

Half Moon was dispatched to a mid day structure fire. Smoke coming from Garage. 500 arrived to find a one story house with nothing showing.
