Half Moon Fights Two house fires and third house hit by lighting.

House Fire in Pumpkin Centers District

Major Forest Fire

On Thursday, March 24, Half Moon responded to assist Camp Lejeune with fighting a major forest fire. 500, 510, 505 and 507 responded and we were on scene for approximately 12 hours fighting fires along HWY 17 from the area of Dixion High School to the SR -10 Range. This fire burned so far close...

A lot has happened since I last posted.  So far we started off with a slow year. We got ready for our ISO inspection, last sunday we had  red flag conditions in our part of the state. We answered 8 calls that day for mutual aid companies. Two were major woods fires involving many agencies....
