The "Moon" family lost one of its brightest stars. Our long serving past president Charles McDonald Sr. passed away Jan 4th. Needless to say, we were sad to hear that news. As many know, our station is named after Charles for his many years as President, from 1978-1993. His past leadership still guides this department, as we owe much of what we are today to his service.
Many "Mooners" attended the service with our Chief making a shadow box presentation to his wife which included an American Flag that flew over our building to honor him.
Please keep the entire McDonald family in your prayers during this difficult time.
